Madison – On
Tuesday, three Wisconsin Environmental Groups awarded Rep. Miller
(D-Monona) a perfect score on environmental votes that he took
during the 2003-04 Legislative Session. Rep. Miller received a score
of 100% from the Sierra Club, the Clean Wisconsin Action Fund and
the Wisconsin League of Conservation Voters.
“The
Environmental Scorecards indicate how important clean air and water
are to me and my constituents.” Miller said, “I work hard every day
in the state legislature to make sure we will be able to enjoy all
the natural resources that Wisconsin has to offer. We must ensure
these natural resources are preserved for future generations”.
“I would like
to thank the Sierra Club, the Clean Wisconsin Action Fund and the
Wisconsin League of Conservation Voters for all their hard work on
environmental issues. I have worked closely with all of these groups
during the last legislative session on many conservation and
environmental bills. Through all of our hard work, we were able to
make a difference in protecting Wisconsin’s great outdoors” Miller
